About Fishbone Outdoors

About Me

My name is Russell Durler, I started Fishbone Outdoors because I love the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. I grew up that way and got the hunting and fishing mentality from my uncles that grew up hunting and bringing food from the outdoors to the table. I am 37 years old and was born in Jetmore, Kansas. I have a wife, Brittney; a 15-year-old daughter, Laine; a 4-year-old son, Rowdy; and a ten-month-old daughter, Roxen. I grew up on a farm 11 miles southeast of Jetmore, Kansas, my dad has crops and runs 300 head of mother cows. Growing up working on the farm taught me to not only love the outdoors but work ethic and living off the land. Over the years my passion has been calling coyotes. With Kansas making it legal to shoot coyotes at night in 2021, I have been sending that passion into overdrive.
